What products can you ship?
Rahndezvous Transport Ltd. is fully-equipped to ship almost anything that you might need. We have customized trailers that will suit most products. Water tight end dumps, water tight Shuttle and Walking floor trailers, water tight Tipper trailers, Tankers with 6" and 3" outlets to handle all material densities, and dry van trailers.
If we don't have the equipment required for a customers product, we are more than happy to purchase and modify trailers as needed to safely and efficiently move the customers product.
How much product can you haul?
All of our organics and tanker trailers are quad and five axle trailers with SPIF compliant steers to maximize weight. We can safely and legally haul up to 37,500kg of product on our quad axles and 40,000kg on our five axle trailers. Our dry van trailers are tandem axle and can safely haul up to 18,000kg.
How are shipping rates determined?
Shipping rates vary, depending on the type of transportation, the distance, the weight of the shipment, and more. For work on a regular basis we always offer a discounted price to help out with long term transportation solutions.
How much notice do you need for a pickup?
We prefer at least 24 hours notice on all bookings, but are more than happy to do our best at accommodating last minute loads.
Are you environmentally certified?
Over our many years in this industry we have obtained certification to move most environmental materials, garbage to landfill and dangerous goods. If we are not already certified, we are more than happy to obtain the required certification prior to moving the product in question.
Are shipments tracked?
Yes, we track all of our road shipments using up-to-date GPS technology. Depending on the shipping method, we may provide shipping updates as your shipment is in transit.
How long does it take to ship freight?
Freight shipping times differ, depending on the shipping destination, mode of transport, and travel conditions. Your shipment can arrive as early as the day it dispatches or within weeks. Several factors determine shipping speed, though our logistics experts will reroute shipments accordingly to minimize shipping time.
Do you offer interstate shipping?
Yes, we offer both local shipping as well as interstate shipping. Depending on the shipping type used, long-distance shipping can be done relatively fast.
